South Point Sales gets RESULTS!

Founded in 2014, South Point Sales has quickly emerged as one of the most successful and respected consignors in the thoroughbred industry.
At the 2021 Keeneland January auction, South Point Sales exceeded the sale average for yearlings and the yearling & broodmare clearance rates. Among the yearlings sold was a $185,000 Nyquist colt, the highest -priced yearling by that sire from six sold. The following month at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed sale, South Point sold five mares for an average price of $104,000, 3X the sale average. WinStar Farm and Gainesway Farm were among the buyers, adding to their prolific broodmare bands. South Point’s overall average of $92,917 ranked #2 among all consignors at the sale. And at the inaugural Fasig-Tipton July Breeding Stock sale, South Point sold broodmare prospect Colonial Creed for $175,000, the 2nd highest-priced mare of the auction.
At the 2020 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Yearlings Showcase South Point sold a $510,00 Nyquist colt and a $500,000 filly by Kingman (GB). Only one Nyquist yearling sold for more in 2020 and the Kingman filly is the highest priced-priced yearling ever sold for a by her sire in North America.
Over the past six years at the Keeneland September yearling auction, South Point has SOLD 81% of hips offered well above the sale clearance rate of 74%. Over the same period, South Point has also exceeded the Keeneland November clearance rate by selling 84% of mares offered.
At the 2019 Fasig-Tipton November auction South Point Sales sold highest-price first crop weanling by Mastery for $325,000, along with a pair of racing/broodmare prospects for a combined $1.1 million.
